Al Pacino as never seen beforeWith a Catweazle-style beard and wispy moustache, Hollywood veteran Al Pacino is transformed for his latest movie, Jack and Jill.

The Godfather star, 70, ditches his usual clean-cut look in the comedy, due out later this year. And it’s an offer you can’t re-fuzz.

Ashton Kutcher: I hated filming sex scenes with Natalie Portman

Sunday, January 16th, 2011

Despite the 16-year age gap and the weeks apart while filming, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are still besotted with each other eight years after they first met. And perhaps that’s just as well, given the steamy romps Ashton took part in for his latest film No Strings Attached.

The adult-rated movie is the ex-Calvin Klein model’s hottest yet, full of nudity and flirtatious dialogue. He plays a man who embarks on a sex-only relationship with a close friend, played by actress-of-the-moment Natalie Portman.

23rd Underpass – Original aura from the 80s

Friday, December 24th, 2010

23rd Underpass is a band that we first got to know in 2008.. The basic concept was to share their music perspective in the Italo disco comeback that was happening in all European capitals. Even they didn’t get to experience the original 80s aura (as they are all so young) they manage to release two songs that carry all the mellow feeling and sound of that beloved decade.  The songs were released to the market in 2009 by Iventi records in 12” inch vinyl maxi singles and they were called Sometimes and You’ll Never Know. Recently, I got a press release regarding their upcoming (second) live performance at Mad Club, Gazi, Athens, Greece and I tried to follow up with the group, see where they stand now.. Well, the best part of all, is their video clip of You’ll Never Know. But read on to find out more..

Little Fockers movie review

Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010

Sometimes going into a movie with diminished expectations can be helpful. “Little Fockers” is the third film in what one could either call the “Parents” or the “Fockers” or the “Meet The” series. Its predecessors were, most people know (or else there wouldn’t be a third one, right), 2000’s “Meet the Parents” and 2004’s “Meet the Fockers.” The hook for “Parents,” of course, was pairing Ben Stiller’s patented tightly wound schlub persona with/against Robert De Niro’s tightly wound, maybe even potentially homicidal, tough-guy persona. And the former persona would be proposing to marry the daughter of the latter persona. Get it? You’re dating a woman and you think it’s going great, and then you find out that her dad is Travis Bickle/Al Capone/Max Cady, etc. etc. Hilarity is bound to ensue.
